Living on one dollar is a documentary produced by two young men named Chris Temple and Zach Ingrasci. They interview Rosa who is 20-year-old, and Chino, who is 12-year-old. They lived in Guatemala and are live in and experience extreme poverty. The two young men want to get the word out and end this tragedy that is happening in our world. The producers made this film to raise awareness global issues. Some of these situation that these people go through well leave you shocked. This film definitely impacts the audiences feeling the connection to the people who are interviewed in the film. It makes the audiences to make a difference and make the world a better place for everyone.
This documentary really changes my views. I never realized how bad others had it and how they live in extreme poverty. Healthy food can be very expensive, but on the other hand, you can order at the dollar menu at the fast food restaurants. It is shocking and sickening that junk food is cheaper than healthy food. Society expects us to eat healthy, but a lot of people can not afford to eat healthy. This film made me realized that I am blessed and lucky for what I have. I start to realize the price different when I go out to eat. I will never know why society works like that.
