GMO OMG director is a father named Jeremy Seifert. He was concerned about what his kids were actually eating and wanted answers about GMO. GMO stands for genetically modified foods that are found in some of our foods. It is about GMOs affect the health of the children, our society, and much more. Jeremy goes on a journey to Haiti, Paris, Norway, and agra-giant Monsant. It shows the differences between all the foods around the world and shows "what's on their plate." I think this film impacted on parents because they want what is best for their children and want to provide them the best that they can receive. Especially eating healthy and getting the right nutritious they need.
This documentary was really informative to me. Also the name OMG GMO is very creative. I never knew much about GMOs about about watching the film, I feel like I know a lot more than I did before! It's crazy that we in society are consuming so many GMOs. 80% of processed food contains GMOs, 80%? That is basically all of our foods. That fact really stood out to me. I never knew that GMOs were basically in everything people consume. I wish it was easier to not consume GMOs but it is hard when only 20% of the foods do not contain it.
